Ive look at the reviews, and this switch seems to be good compare with other for the price. I was a little disappointed in the gold deal by amazon. If you search newegg you will find this available cheaper (37.99 shipped AR)and you dont have to hurry to order it within the four hour “SPECIAL”.

Some dont like the review caz i mainly took into account the price. sorry to bad, price is a killer for me. “GOLD DEAL” should mean something.

First off this is an awesome router, easy to use, simple setup and awesome speed. The guy at Staples told me not to buy it and said it was bad and to buy a linksys. I told him listen here guy I bought a Linksys last time and the thing was garbage. Poor performance, lost connections, slow internet compared to D-Link and it crapped out in 1 years soon as the warrenty wore off. Avoid Linksys and get D-Link routers for the best internet experience.

I’m replacing an old Cisco 5-port 10/100 switch with this device as I need the extra ports. I swapped this device in — and my entire network crashed, DHCP server and all. I bounced every device on the wired network — everything behind this switch in my bedroom did not pull IP addresses. I swapped the old CISCO back in — the bedroom devices immediately pulled IP addresses. I repeated the swap — again, a crash and only my TiVo plugged in. I wasted 4 hours of my life I’ll never get back!

I guess you get what you pay for!

Got this at a good price and it was easy to set up. All 802.11g devices worked on it. I have been impressed with it. The external antenna I got (optional) allow me to extend the wireless range. One problem I had was when I use the WPR mode and one of my wireless device (MX-760HD) crashed. I turned it off, reset my devices and all’s well again. If you are getting ready to jump on the N bandwagon, this is a good step to take.
