This is my first jump into the Home Theater world and I believe this is a great entry level projector! The picture is good already played Call of Duty MW2 on both PS3 and XBox seem to go with out a hitch! in online play I didn’t notice any lag. I have not seen any “rainbow effect” and have been looking (I’m very critical when it comes to things like that). Overall I’m happy I do notice rubbish CGI in movies a lot more; however I guess that’s a good thing.

I was looking between the Mitsu HC-3800 and this and I’m happy I saved the $[...] bucks maybe later I’ll get a more high end (well above the 3800, and HD20) but that will be another day.

Leslie_Leslie says that the image can’t zoom or focus? Is this true? I know it does not do this electronically, but I would think that you can turn the lens manually to zoom and focus.

thanks

This projector is great for a first time projectionist. Great picture and very easy to use! As said in previous reviews, the picture actually gets better after a week or two. It’s a great picture right out of the box, but it’s like the bulb gets broken in after a some use and the picture looks even brighter. Great buy!

On a dollar for quality basis, I doubt this projector can be beat. Image quality is fantastic, brightness is good and the device itself is reasonably quiet.

The only complaint I have is that the remote control. The remote is backlit, which in and of itself is a good thing, but the backlighting rivals the projector bulb for lumen output. When the lights are off, as they will be when you use a projector, the backlighting of the remote will blind you.

Not a big deal though, since you’ll only use the remote to setup the projector once. After that it is only used to turn the projector on and off.
